Day 20...ish

No, I have not already thrown in the towel blogging...although it seems tempting at times.

My computer has officially been over taken by an evil virus and thus cannot see daylight before it loses all motivation to properly operate and then freezes in utter confusion (every time!).

"Why don't you use someone else's computer to blog?" you may say.  Well, I find it very impersonal to use another's computer, especially for blogging.  The keys feel different and I constantly worry about smudging the screen.  Would you ever use someone else's journal because you cannot locate your journal?  I wouldn't think so:)

In the meantime my journal has been refreshed with many days of thankfulness.

Day 14

Thankful for...

Light

The LORD is my light and my salvation—
   whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

Day 13

Thankful for...

The Christmas Season

While I very much dislike the consumerism of Christmas, I basically love everything else!
Driving around EVERY night and looking at twinkle lights
Decorating with lots of tinsel
Inhaling the taste of freshly baked sugar cookies
Watching 2/3 year olds hurt themselves during the church's Christmas program
And, remembering the real reason why we celebrate Christmas

Day 12

Thankful...

For Family

Dylan's family threw me a surprise shower last night...all the gifts were lingerie
I think Dylan will enjoy these gifts a lil more than me;)
I'm entering into such an awesome family

Day 10

Thankful for...

Warm Showers!

I love the concept of mornings:

I love it when the sun rises
I love it when I smell coffee
I love it how my pillow softly cradles my head as I first wake up
I love the first big stretch right before I get out of bed
I love warm showers

Day 6

Thankful...

For The Sun

Psalm 19

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowlege.
There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.

Day 5

Thankful...

       For Community

With my finals over and being stuck at Cedarville for the next few days without any school responsibility, I have been devoured by deep conversations with so many people who I love.

They hold me accountable.
They do not let me stumble and wallow in despair.
They encourage me to seek answeres to my questions.
I am forever thankful for these relationships.
